Solec energy is passionate about renewable energy, and thanks to the UK government’s Feed in Tariff scheme we have developed a new energy product that enables roof owners to install solar PV panels at no cost, whilst generating free electricity and income for 25 years.
Our Solar Energy & Income Generation Agreement (SEIGA) is designed to help schools, village halls, small and medium sized businesses, residential groups, and farms engage with green energy without the capital outlay.
SEIGA is designed for all buildings with a flat or south facing aspect of 70 square metres or more. Residential properties of less than 70 square metres must be part of a geographical cluster of 50 residential properties with a minimum roof size of 17.5 square metres.
How Does SEIGA Work?
In very simple terms every square metre of southerly facing roof space you contract to SOLEC, will earn you a guaranteed income every year for 25 years.
Solec energy will finance the preparation, supply, installation, maintenance and insurance of your solar pv installation, and utilise a percentage of the UK Government feed in tariff scheme to fund this.
You will receive a reduction in your energy bills every year for a minimum of 25 years as the electricity generated by your solar PV system will feed into your buildings energy demands. For every square metre of solar PV on your roof, the government pay a Feed in Tariff (or generation grant).
SEIGA provides schools, small and medium sized businesses, residential groups and farms access to clean, free energy and roof income for 25 years.
